When PNG is the better choice
The converter renders each PDF page as a separate PNG image. PNG uses lossless image encoding and can keep fine lines and text edges clearer than JPG, although the files may be larger.
A PNG is a picture of the rendered page, not an editable PDF or a text document. If you need to copy words, use PDF to Text or PDF to Word instead.
Check size and appearance
The browser renders every page at a fixed scale before export. Large or long PDFs can use significant memory and produce many separate images. Inspect the saved output at its intended display size.
No PDF is uploaded by this tool. If the source is encrypted or malformed, rendering may fail; try an unencrypted copy you are authorized to use.
