Choose what the code should contain
The generator supports a website URL, plain text, Wi-Fi connection details, or an email draft. The information is encoded directly into a static QR image; ToolVerse does not create a redirect or a managed short link.
A static code has no built-in expiry, but a linked website can move or disappear. Wi-Fi QR codes can expose the network name and password to anyone who scans or shares the image, so treat that output as sensitive.
Make the code easy to scan
Use a dark foreground on a light background, leave the quiet border around the pattern, and download a size suitable for the intended print or screen. A larger payload creates a denser pattern.
Error correction adds redundancy but does not guarantee every design will scan. Test the PNG on more than one phone and at the final printed size before distributing it.
What happens to entered data
The QR image is generated in your browser. Review the encoded destination or message before publishing; a QR image is not a privacy or security control and anyone who scans it can read or follow its payload.
